After her musical studies in Italy and abroad, Enrica Ciccarelli has begun a career as a pianist. Starting from her international debut at Salle Gaveau in 1992 she has performed throughout the world in solo recitals, concertos with orchestra and chamber ensembles.
She has been highly acclaimed from international critics after her debuts at Teatro alla Scala, Amsterdam Concertgebow , Salzburger Festspielhaus, Carnegie Hall in New York, Seoul Arts Center, NCPA at Pechino, Teatro Comunale in Firenze, Teatro San Carlo in Napoli.
Enrica Ciccarelli is ambassador of Italy in the world also with performances by Italian authors, from Scarlatti to Nino Rota and Francesco Paolo Tosti.
In 2008 she has performed the Concerto Soirée by Nino Rota in long tour in China in some of the most important cities and theaters. He has collaborated with great international musicians from Salvatore Accardo to Mariella Devia, Joseph Silverstein, Milan Horvath, Alexander Kniazev, Enrico Dindo, Francesco Manara, Amarilli Nizza, Hubert Soudant, JoAnn Falletta, Alexander Vedernikov, I Solisti della Scala, Alexandre Bloch, Gabriel Feltz, Alexander Shelley, Toshiyuki Kamioka.
She holds masterclasses in Italy and abroad and is invited to be part of juries of international competitions.
She's invited by important international symphony orchestras in Europe, United States and Asia and by major european festivals. His discography includes the world premiere recording of Chopin's Mazurkas transcribed by Pauline Viardot; an album dedicated to the concerts of Robert and Clara Schumann acclaimed by international critics, the Grieg concert live from the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, as well as three albums as soloist and the last CD recorded with the Argentine soprano Ivanna Speranza dedicated to the romances of Francesco Paolo Tosti.
Enrica Ciccarelli always shows great attention to the choice of programmes, with a particular dedication to female composers such as Viardot, Clara Schumann, Lera Auerbach, Marianne Auenbrugger, Cécile Chaminade.
She is President and Artistic Director of Fondazione La Società dei Concerti in Milano and has founded the Antonio Mormone International Prize.
